Mr. Garon brings extensive knowledge in the mobile telecommunications market with over 15 years hands-on experience in international sales, marketing and product management. Previously, Mr. Garon served as a Director of product marketing at OTM Technologies, where he secured a multi million dollar deal with Apple computers as well as development agreements with technology giants including: Samsung, Motorola & Siemens. Prior to OTM Mr. Garon held other managerial positions including Senior Product Manager at Wizcom Technologies leading it to product integration into the handset world . Mr. Garon holds an MBA in Marketing & Information Systems as well as a BA in Economics and Business both from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Yifat Oron
Board Member

Yifat Oron strengthens the team with her vast knowledge of the international telecom and capital markets, and her M&A deal experience. Prior to joining Vertex Venture Capital, Mrs. Oron was an investment banker in the Global Technology, Media and Telecom Group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York, where she performed financial analysis and built valuation models for a wide range of products including: mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, fixed income and syndicated finance. Mrs. Oron also worked as a management consultant for a leading Israeli economic consulting firm, Dan Tahori Management Consulting Ltd. Mrs. Oron spent three years at the Directorate of R&D of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant in the role of the Assistant to the Director of Economics, Budget & Control Department. Mrs. Oron holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Tel-Aviv University and a B.A in Economics and Management (cum laude) from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Takashi Hondo

Mr. Hondo is the founder and management partner of Fintech Global Capital (FGC), Japan. Mr. Hondo brings to ASOCS board his extensive international investment experience with technology-based start-up companies. He has been in the venture capital industry for ten years holding the position of a board member / observer in seven. Prior to FGC foundation, Mr. Hondo was working closely with both portfolio companies and syndication VCs when he was the investment manager for NIF SMBC Ventures, one of the leading Japanese venture capital firm, where he was responsible for investment and significant value creation for portfolio companies. Prior to that, Mr. Hondo worked for Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) as a project leader both a management and IT consulting field.
Mr. Hondo holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Marketing, both from Eastern Michigan University.

Rony Lerner
Board Member
Mr. Lerner brings to ASOCS Board of Directors, extensive know-how and experience in general & financing management, as well as, broad perspective in high technology growth companies. Mr. Lerner is the founder and president of High-Tech Systems Ltd and is actively involved in investment in high-tech companies since 1990's and in Real Estate.
Prior to that, he served as the General Manager and CEO of an industrial group of companies.
Mr. Lerner graduated the Recanati Business School in Tel Aviv University (Economics & Accounting)
and is a Certified Public Accountant since 1975.
