    Mr. Garon brings extensive knowledge in the mobile telecommunications market with over 15 years hands-on experience in international sales, marketing and product management. Previously, Mr. Garon served as a Director of product marketing at OTM Technologies, where he secured a multi million dollar deal with Apple computers as well as development agreements with technology giants including: Samsung, Motorola & Siemens. Prior to OTM Mr. Garon held other managerial positions including Senior Product Manager at Wizcom Technologies leading it to product integration into the handset world . Mr. Garon holds an MBA in Marketing & Information Systems as well as a BA in Economics and Business both from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

    Mr. Solomon has been involved in various aspects of communication solution design since 1988. During his military service as a Communications Officer in the Israeli Air Force he was accredited for numerous developments he made and is constantly promoted in rank as a prominent reserve officer. Mr. Solomon previously served as a leading Algorithm Engineer and chip solution designer in companies such as: Tadiran SpectraLinke and Innowave. His knowledge in algorithms was demonstrated by serving as chairman for a sub-committee for Turbo Codes, which was part of the MAGNET Software Radio Project. He holds an M.Sc in Physics as well as a B.Sc in Physics and Mathematics both from the Bar Ilan University.

    Prof. Simon Litsyn

    Prof. Simon Litsyn brings more than 30 years of experience in research of theoretical and practical aspects of communication and computing systems. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Leningrad Electro-technical Institute in 1982. Since 1991 he is with the Department of Electrical Engineering - Systems at the Tel Aviv University, where he currently serves as a Full Professor. Prof. Litsyn authored more than 100 papers published in leading profile journals, one monograph and edited 3 books. Since 2000 he is serving as an Associate Editor for Coding Theory of IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. Prof. Litsyn is an inventor of the "X4" technology for increasing density of flash memory awarded "Innovation of the Year" in 2006. Along with academic achievements, Prof. Litsyn has a proven record in consulting on leading projects in high-tech companies like Bell-Labs, Lucent Technologies, in Murray Hill, NJ, and at Shannon Labs in Florham Park, NJ. In Israel, he served as a consultant and project lead in various fields and in numerous companies including: wireline communications (Metalink, Actelis, Mysticom, Tiaris), wireless communications (ComSys, Infineon, Ceragon, ElIsra, Nexus), optical communications (Optix Networks, ECI), and computing and storage (M-Systems, Analog Devices, ImageID, Zoran).

    Mr. Alergand brings over 20 years of experience in financial management, business consulting, accounting and tax audit. Prior to joining ASOCS, Mr. Alergand was the CFO of Rostam, and a board member of its subsidiaries, where he led some business changes of the group's activity. Prior to that, he served as the CFO of Espro, where he established some new subsidiaries abroad, and led the implementation of a reporting system for the group. Prior to that, he served as a finance manager of other industrial companies, and as an auditor at E&Y, and PwC. Mr. Alergand holds an MBA in Finance and Insurance, as well as a BA in Economics and Accounting, both from the Tel Aviv University.

  • Gaby Guri

    Gaby Guri

    VP R&D

    Mr. Guri has over twenty years of experience in research and development of wireless technologies. Prior to joining ASOCS, Mr. Guri lead the development of battery assisted RFID at Power Paper. Prior to that he was responsible for developing complex architectural systems for next-generation wireless LAN chipset based on MIMO technology at Metalink. He served also as VP of R&D at Envara and TelesciCOM developing chipsets for wireless LANs and broadband wireless access. Mr. Guri started his career at Tadiran Communications and after that was one of the initiators at Innowave. Mr. Guri holds a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Tel Aviv University.

    Director of Modem Design

    Mr. Kaitz brings vast experience in modem and signal processing design. Prior to joining ASOCS, Mr. Kaitz worked for 11 years in Alvarion, Tel-Aviv, where he led several design activities. Mr. Kaitz overlooked the development of a variety of high-speed wireless modems for wireless LAN, fixed and mobile broadband access applications. He was responsible for the design of algorithms, architecture and implementation of the modems.
    Mr. Kaitz gained significant expertise in software and hardware implementation of signal processing and communications building blocks. He was involved in the design and development of several ICs for WiFi and WiMAX applications. Mr. Kaitz was a major contributor to several wireless standards, including IEEE802.11a, IEEE 802.16a/d/e and ETSI HIPERMAN. Mr. Kaitz holds a B.Sc. from the Technion Institute in Haifa Israel, and an M.Sc from the Tel Aviv University, both in electrical engineering.
