The Asocs StudioX is a complete Integrated Development Environment (IDE). It provides a highly visual and automated framework to accelerate the development of modems on top of the heterogeneous Many Core architecture of ModemX.
StudioX IDE provides all the tools needed during a full development cycle:
- Design – StudioX helps the user to define a project and to design the required modems
- Simulation – The user is able to simulate the design in the integrated ModemX Simulator for verification
- Integration - The same environment is used to integrate and debug the design as part the Chip
The StudioX Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is an intuitive, user-friendly GUI-based environment that leads the developer through the whole design flow. It provides a unified environment for all ModemX development activities. The StudioX IDE includes the following components:
- Project manager
- Source code editor (Language intelligence)
- Automatic build tool including: compilation, link/locate and resource allocation
- Simulator
- Debugger
- Libraries – includes frequently used algorithms
- Documentation including: Programmer Guide and examples (sample code)
